I definitely watched this a lot later than everyone else. I heard a lot of good things about it and was excited to see what it was about. If you haven’t seen it yet i’ll tell you what it is about. It is about a man you is Steven Avery who was wrongly accused of a crime. He then was found innocent and released. He then was arrested for a another crime years later. He says he was innocent but was still found guilty.
I never really watched a documentary crime show. This was a new genre for me and it was really interesting. I never really knew what went into a case and seeing what went on in this one was so crazy to believe. I watched all the episodes and if you ask me if I think he was guilty, I would tell you that I honestly don’t know. The first time I would say he was guilty but then we find out he was innocent. So the 2nd time it is hard to say. You see the deck was stacked against him and that the town didn’t like his family. There are so many unknown parts that it is hard to see the truth. I liked this show because it was something I have never really seen before. If you haven’t seen it already ( which is highly unlikely), go and watch. If you have never watched a documentary, it is a little slower than scripted shows but totally worth it. And as always The Show Must Go On.

I finally watched it! I know, I know, it took me long enough.
Before watching this, I had never really known anything about the OJ Simpson case. I had heard his name but other than that nothing else. I had watched this and I wasn’t sure how much was embellished but overall I liked it. I was watching it and was thinking that this stuff couldn’t have actually happened. After talking to my wonderful mother who had watched it when she was younger, many of the events in the show did happen.
This case is one of the most well known in America. I was so intrigued from beginning to end. I understand why this show was so popular and successful now because of how well it was made. I honestly couldn’t take my eyes of the screen. One thing that I need to give props is to the casting team. The casting in this production was amazing. You could tell they spent a lot of time getting people that not only looked like the characters but were very talented.
After watching this show, people asked me what I thought. Guilty or not guilty? Honestly, I don’t know. I didn’t watch the actual case so I don’t believe I can even give an opinion. This show is the only interaction I had with the OJ Simpson trial. My opinion of the show is that it an amazing work of art. If crime shows are your thing, then you will enjoy this show. I would love to know what other people think. Not just of this articular case but of the show in general.

What Up What Up What Up!
I watched this show in 2 days. I had first seen previews for it a couple weeks before and that really caught my eye. I also learned that this show was based on a book, which I had never known. I only watched the promo for it so that is why I decided to check it out.
If you don’t already know, this show is about a girl who commits suicide. She leaves behind tapes for the 13 reasons why she decided to this and who was a reason she did it. Whoever is listening to the tapes, is a reason why she decided to commit suicide. It is a heavy kind of show but it is so real, which is why I think it makes it so hard to watch. I think the creators of this show did a really good job of showing the affects of bullying and what someone who is contemplating suicide might be going through. I also think that they did a fantastic job with providing a diverse cast. The actors weren’t bad either. These charters were well rounded and had different levels to them. And it was interesting to see how all their stories interacted. I think the actors did a good job of showing the different depths of each character.
None of the topics in the show are easy and I think they showed us as viewers how hard it can be. Some scenes were uncomfortable and I think in a way that is a good thing, because sometimes people need to be uncomfortable for it to affect them.
It took me so long to write this because I would ask friends if they watched it and what they thought. We would say what characters we loved and hated. We would talk about certain events. Overall, everyone thought it was so entertaining and informative. It was one of those shows that you immediately want to see the next episode to see what happens. I had to take a couple days just to reflect on what I just watched.
I think show is one that everyone should watch. There are some hard scenes so it is more for older viewers, but the show is amazing. You never know how your words or actions will affect someone. You never know what they are going through or dealing with in their life.
This show is a Netflix original. I am probably not the first place that talked about it, but check it out. My last thing is, Do you think there will be a season 2?
And The Show Must Go On

What Up! What Up! What Up!
I see this advertised on Netflix a lot so I thought I would check it out. Also, a friend recommended it to me and said I would like it. I watched the first episode and didn’t really get into it until after the 2nd episode.
This show takes place in the Bronx around the disco era. The basics are about a bunch of kids who want to do more with their life. They all have dreams and aspirations and hope to reach them some day. OK, so let’s dig a little deeper in the show. Disco music is the spirit and heart of this show. It is what everyone is listening to and disco DJs are the kings of their neighborhood. If you are a good DJ, you are loved by many and that is what a lot of people want to be. It really shows how disco is a part of the Bronx and how it makes them feel. Not only is it about music but it is also about power and how everyone wants it. This show also shows how far some people will go to get that power. What really stuck out to me in the show was seeing what these kids are going through to make a name for themselves or to even get out of the Bronx. The cast o kids is pretty awesome and among them is Jaden Smith. This is a cool show to check out. It is a Netflix Original and there is only one season right now but another is coming out April 7th.

What Up! What Up! What Up!
I have to admit the first time I saw the promos for this show, I thought it would be bad. It looked corny and like it wasn’t worth my time. Why did I decide to watch it you ask? Well, Drew Barrymore was in it and I absolutely love her so I decided to check it out.
After watching the first season, I have to say that I did enjoy this show. It was funnier than I thought it would be. Lets just say my first impressions were wrong about the show. It wasn’t bad like I assumed, it was actually enjoyable to watch.
If you have never heard of this show, it is a Netflix Original. Drew Barrymore plays a woman named Sheila who is a wife, mother, and real estate agent. She suddenly becomes a zombie and her family’s life completely changes. During the show the family tries to deal with this new reality and try to figure out how she got this way and how to fix it.
If you are on the fence about the show, I say try the 1st episode and see how you like it. If you like Drew Barrymore as an actress, than you might enjoy this show also. Let me know what you like about the show in the comments below. Please like this post if you enjoyed it And The Show Must Go On.
I recently watched Luke Cage on Netflix and loved it. A character that I thought was portrayed was Cottonmouth played by Mahershala Ali. I thought his acting for this character was on point and I couldn’t get enough. He appeared on things like House of Cards and the Hunger Games Mocking jay Part 2.
He recently won his first SAG award for his performance in Moonlight. When receiving this award, he gave a speech about the role he played and how it affected him. He talked about inclusion and acceptance of all. His speech was moving and I was almost in tears. I am so happy he won a SAG award and I know this isn’t the last that we will see of him. He is one of those faces that you will continue to see on screen. I am excited to see what he will do next.
I want to say thank you to Mahershala Ali for your speech and your presence on television. Seeing representation of all cultures and people in television is important and influential to the people who watch it.

What Up! What Up! What Up!
I just finished watching A Series of Unfortunate Events on Netflix. I do have to say that I kind of liked it. I had read all the books when I was younger and finally a show has come out that will bring them to life. I read the books so long ago, that what had happened in them is kind of fuzzy. I might need to dig those out and reread them. I did also watch the movie that came out with Jim Carrey and I loved that cast a lot. I was hesitant even to watch this show because I loved the movie and I didn’t want the show to disappoint.
I think that Neil Patrick Harris did a great job and is perfect to play Count Olaf. While watching the show, it was great to see a series I loved come back to life. I think the show stayed more true to the book than the movie had, which I greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately (no pun intended) for me, I kept comparing the show to the movie. I had loved the movie so much that it was hard for me personally to appreciate the show completely on its own. Even though I think Neil Patrick Harris is doing a great job, I loved Jim Carrey as Count Olaf a little more. The comparison for me does stop after Aunt Josephine’s house, because that is where the movie stops. As the show went on from there I enjoyed it a lot more. I was no longer thinking well the movie did this. I was thinking how much I was enjoying it. I am so excited for future seasons and can’t wait to see which way they decide to take the show.
The first season is on Netflix if you dare to watch. Please like and comment below if you enjoyed this post or about your thoughts on the show. And on that note, The Show Must Go On.

I haven’t posted in a while but I will get better at posting more often. I have recently been traveling the world and was kind of distracted but I’m officially back so lets get down to business. While in London I decided, let me watch The Crown. I was so glad that I made that decision. I absolutely love this show. I think the casting was done well and it shows you apart of being royal that you don’t really think about. I never really knew to much about the royal family, but realizing what they must have to go through is crazy. The main point of this show is about the crown obviously, but how far would you go to protect the crown. The queen has to decide what should happen when it comes to family, her marriage and her people. Every time she needs to make a decision will she go in favor of the crown? It is very interesting and definitely keeps my attention. If you like shows like Reign then you will probably enjoy this show. I say give it shot and tell me what you think.

Right now it is midnight and I had to write this now because I am all hyped up on the Gilmore Girls revival. Before I saw it, I thought it would be more of a goodbye message to the fans. I thought that it would be the final season that we all wanted, but I was mistaken.
*** SPOILERS AHEAD ***
Let me just say, this season was everything! I loved the original series of Gilmore girls and this season just reminded me of how much I enjoyed it. What I really enjoyed were the little details that were in this season that only true fans of Gilmore Girls would know and love. A few are:
- They had the town performer in stars hallow with his famous guitar.
- They brought back the Black, White, and Red theater.
- HEP ALIEN was back and playing together.
- When Lorelai smells snow, that made me all types of happy.
- The thing I loved most was that they included all the people that made the show.
I love the people of stars hallow. I loved seeing Ms. Patty and Babette, Gypsy fixing cars, Taylor running town meetings, Michel and Sookie banter, and let us not forget about Kirk and his life. It was just great and it looked like the cast never skipped a beat. Watching the 4 episodes I smiled, laughed, cried, and remembered all the great times this show had. Now I want to re watch Gilmore Girls from the very beginning for the 5th time.
A lot of things were the same but there was a lot of change and growing also. All three women had to find there way and some of them are still doing it. What I loved, was how we saw them each take a journey through these episodes.
Even though I loved the show so much I wasn’t happy with the ending. As I said before, I thought it was going to be more of a final season but the cliff hanger at the end showed me there is more to come. Pregnant! I can’t believe she is pregnant! When Rory was asking her dad if her mom made the right decision, I thought it was for her book but now I know it was for her. Will Rory and Logan get together because of this or will it be like Luke and Lorelai but with Jess and Rory? I have no idea but I can’t wait to find out.

This show was previously on USA and I wanted to watch it but I just never got to it. Now it is on Netflix. Let’s just say that after I watched it, I was not disappointed. This show is about a Sniper named Bob Lee Swagger played by Ryan Phillippe. Bob Lee Swagger was in the military and tries to do the right thing and help a friend. Unfortunately, it did not go as planned. He ended up being framed for killing the President. Now what will he do when all fingers are pointed at him?
There is something else that you should know about this show. You will not be able to see the whole season on Netflix. The episodes come weekly instead of all at once, which is not how I like it but it does keep me interested. I am excited to see what will happen in the next episode.
A bonus is that Shantel VanSanten who played Quinn on One Tree Hill plays Julie Swagger who is the wife of the Sniper. I am glad to see her on TV again and can’t wait to see how her character deals with the predicament that her husband is in. Just to remind you that is it on Netflix and new episodes will be coming every week so make sure to keep up.
